nowhere

Inheriting the spirit of interrupting reality by isolating recognizable scenes and details and placing them in unnatural contexts creates an illusory view with no boundaries between reality and one's dreams of surrealist works , the artwork nowhere is my attempt to connect with the memories and experiences associated with the space of my home and hometown. The work is a series of photographs, recording my daily activities in the apartment where I live in the city I migrated to. However, those scenes of daily activities will be interrupted and confused by images of my hometown and family projected by a projector into the space to create a juxtaposition between images of memory and present, between desire and reality, thereby reflecting my life as a migrant in the context of contemporary Vietnam.
